Feng Shui Room number 2 - Love and relationships

The room number two is for love and relationships also for business relationships. This is a very powerful area in your home. If you have troubles in earlier mentioned areas of life, you have to pay special attention to this area. You probably have clutter in your love corner or it might as well be empty. If the corner is cluttered, clean it up immediately and put there some beautiful items, not single one, but always a pair of them. If the corner is empty, you may miss a person to live with.

This room relates to the mother and is very likely occupied by a woman/wife in the house.

Location is in Southwest (compass direction) part of the house or in the furthest corner of your right hand side if you wish to use the intuitive bagua.

The element is earth and the energy is also earth.

Room's trigram is k'un; three broken yin lines beneath each other.

As said, this is very powerful area and people have achieved great results by rearranging this room.

So, check out your love corner, make changes if needed and wait for suprises.

Feng Shui Room number 1 - Career, new beginnings

Each room has it's own direction, energy, element , trigram and each room represents a certain area of life and a family member. Room number one locates in north, the element is water as well as the energy. But it's very important that the energy is not stagnated. Water must flow, but not too fast. The trigram is k'an. K'an has two broken (yin) lines and one complete (yang) line between yin-lines. The lines are beneath each other. Trigrams are better known from I Ching-The Book of Changes.

This area is very powerful for career, new beginnings and travel. Travel doesn't mean only a holiday trip to your favorite place but your whole life path.

This room relates to the middle son and is an ideal place for his bedroom.

If you have difficulties in job or you want to have a new job and nothing happens, you have to check this area carefully. Clean it up and you may also want to set up some feng shui enhancer or remedy. Some suggestions: pictures, which show what you want to do, blue color will nurish the energy.

I have noticed in my own life that this area is extremely important, especially having our hall and entrance in north. If this is the case the hall has to be beautiful, inviting, well lit and clean- not loaded with piles of shoes and sports equipments. I also use to have fresh flowers placed so, that they are the first thing I see when opening the door.
This same rule is valid where ever your hall is located.

Feng Shui and The Bagua ?

How to evaluate the different areas of life in your home. Feng shui consultants use bagua (it can be seen written also pa kua), it's an octagonal shaped diagram divided into eight equal parts. Each part represents a direction and one area of life. You can place the bagua over a plan of your house, a room even over a visit card. There is no limitations where to use it, use your imagination.
It's easier to use bagua when you will arrange your home in accordance with real compass directions (south, east, west etc).

You can also use Lo Shu; a square divided into nine equal parts. We could call this "an intuitive bagua". It's also known as a magical square with even numbers in the corners and odd numbers in the middle of each side. Whatever way you calculate the sum of the numbers in each horisontal, vertical or diagonal line, the result will always be fifteen. Using this method your outdoor will always be places either in 8, 1 or 6 when in the first mentioned system your outdoor can be in 1,2,3,4,6,7,8 or 9. In other words, in which ever compass direction.

If you are not familiar with these systems, I recommed you use the latter method, simply because it's easier to use and it works as well as the former. Try to solve in which (number) room your outdoor is located.
